English translations from https://www.calisthenics-japan.com/events/street-lifting-japan-championship-2025 About This Event ⚫︎Date and time Saturday, March 22, 2025, 10:00-15:00 Location: Kamui Park (Osaka) ⚫︎Contents of the competition Participants will perform the following four tasks, and rankings will be determined based on the total points they earn. ① Pull-ups 1RM (maximum weight) up to 3 attempts ② Dips 1RM (maximum weight) up to 3 attempts ③ Pull-ups +20kg (consecutive times) up to 1 attempt ※Female athletes are +7.5kg ④ Dips +35kg (consecutive times) up to 1 attempt ※Female athletes are +15kg ⚫︎About the attempts Maximum weight challenges for pull-ups and dips can be performed up to 3 attempts. The weight to be challenged must be declared in advance at the time of entry (changes can be made after declaration). If you fail once, you cannot try again by reducing the weight. The best attempt (kg) out of the three attempts will be the final record. ⚫︎Regarding form and judging Pull-ups Only right-handed or left-handed grips are permitted. It will only count when your chin is completely over the bar and locked. Dips You will only count when your elbows are at 90 degrees and fully extended at the top position. For more information on prohibited items and form, please see YouTube (coming soon). ⚫︎Score distribution (male athletes) As follows. ✔︎Pull-ups 1 RM Record kg x 1.0 x 5.0 (Example: For 50kg, 70 x 1.0 x 5.0 = 350 points) ✔︎Dip 1 RM Record kg x 0.6 x 5.0 (Example: For 100kg, 100 x 0.6 x 5.0 = 300 points) ✔︎Number of consecutive pull-ups + 20kg 1 rep → 20 points (Example: For 20 reps, 20 x 20 = 400 points) ✔︎Number of consecutive dips + 35kg 1 rep → 21 points (Example: For 30 reps, 30 x 21 = 630 points) ⚫︎Score consideration (female athletes) ✔︎Pull-ups 1 RM Record kg x 2.2 x 5.0 (Example: (For example, 25kg, 25×2.2×5.0=275 points) ✔︎Dip 1 RM Record kg×1.8×5.0 (For example, for 40kg, 40×1.8×5.0=360 points) ✔︎Number of consecutive pull-ups +7.5kg 1 rep → 21 points (For example, for 15 reps, 15×21=315 points) ✔︎Number of consecutive dips +15kg 1 rep → 22.5 points (For example, for 20 reps, 20×22.5=450 points) Taking into consideration the above considerations for women, the final ranking will be announced in a mixed gender format. ⚫︎Weight category The contestants will be divided into two categories based on the average weight of the entire contestants. For example, if there are three participants (50kg, 60kg, 70kg), the average weight will be 60kg, and the weight classes will be divided into two: under 60kg and over 60kg. Athletes will be weighed at the registration on the day of the competition. When entering the competition, you will also be asked to declare your weight at that time. *If there are only a few participants, weight classes will not be divided. In that case, weight will not be taken into consideration when giving points. ⚫︎Gear and equipment Assistive equipment such as wristbands, supports, mouthpieces, and clothing are permitted. Only weight belts provided by the competition will be used. Belts brought in by participants are not permitted. ⚫︎Prize money Athletes who achieve the following records will be awarded prize money. Overall winners of each class (1-20,000 yen) Highest weight record for pull-ups (1 person/5,000 yen) Highest weight record for dips (1 person/5,000 yen) Highest number of consecutive pull-ups (1 person/5,000 yen) Highest number of consecutive dips (1 person/5,000 yen) *If there are only a few participants Weight classes will not be divided. ⚫︎Application deadline Entry closes on March 15th, one week before the tournament. ⚫︎Capacity Approximately 30 people (first come, first served)
